Allegheny High Plateau! We're
just off the "lake effect" snow
region, between Buffalo and
Pittsburgh. And it's the largest
tract of open land between
Chicago and New York.
Where: Chapman State Park
near Clarendon, Pennsylvania in
Warren County.

This January 26th and 27th the
Winterfest in Clarendon will be
sponsoring sleigh rides for all
from noon to 4 p.m. More info at

Friday, January 25:
9 a.m.  32-mile dog sled race

3 to
8 p.m.
 Meet the dog sled teams and wish them
a.m.    congratulations at a spaghetti dinner
9 a.m.sponsored by the Kalbfus Rod and Gun Club
9 a.m.on Chapman Dam Road. Dinner starts at
9 a.m.5 p.m. Public welcome.

Saturday, January 26:
9 a.m. Sledding Hill opens
9 a.m.  Free Snow Shoes & Free Cross-Country Skis
a.m.      Two-day ice fishing contest starts
10:00 a.m. Jim Lobdell Memorial Sled Dog Races
10:30 a.m. Geo Caching contestants meet
12:00  Sled racing, inner tube racing, snowboard
9 a.m. racing on Sledding Hill
9 a.m. Snow Sculpture Competition
9 a.m. Horse Drawn Sleigh Rides until 4 p.m.
1 p.m. Free Ski lessons for beginners
9 a.m.  Polar Bear Plunge
2 p.m. Guided trail tours for skiers and snowshoers
9 a.m.  Free Geo Caching Seminar, beginners
9 a.m.  welcome!
3 p.m. Snow Sculpture judging
6 p.m. Champions on Ice, figure skating exhibition
6:30 p.m. Fireworks!
