It's a county fair in the middle of
winter. It's a learning-fest for anyone who
wants to know how to go ice fishing
safely, how to use snow shoes and enjoy
the exhiliration of cross-country skiing.
Learn from the experts for free.
It's an escape from cabin fever. Pack
up the kids and enjoy everything winter
has to offer in a beautiful setting in one of
Pennsylvania's best state parks.
Show them the sled dogs, the
snowboard racers, and the polar bear
plunge. Last year so many people came
that the event ran out of free shuttle
buses from the large parking lot to the
event grounds.
So turn down your heat for a couple
days, leave your pets at home, and dig
out the mittens and scarves. You're about
to have a weekend the kids will be talking
about for a long, long time.
