Photographer Ed Bernik
Photographer Ed Bernik signs his book at the Warren County Historical Society
By Warren resident Bob Dilks. A
reviewer wrote: " The fictional story
takes place in north western
Pennsylvania and New York state
...interspersed with fascinating
facts about Chief Cornplanter and
the Seneca Indians."
By Warren painter Thomas Paquette. "Often
described as gemlike, 115 of his gouaches are
reproduced full-size with an essay by art historian
Sally E. Mansfield, and a preface by the artist. Art
critic Philip Isaacson wrote that these gouaches by
Paquette are "irresistible paintings." Paquette's work
is displayed in museums and galleries  all over the
world, including U.S. Embassies in Athens, Rome,
St. Petersburg, and Vienna.

Murder in the Courtroom

by John L. Young
and Lyle James Slack

The judge can't hit his gavel and
say, "Order in the Courtroom!" He's
been shot. Check your guns at the
door and read about Warren,
Pennsylvania's notorious addition
to the annals of American justice. A
real crime of passion that still
shocks local residents, it is written
by Warren County resident John
Young and Warren native Lyle
James Slack. It might be turned into
a movie.
