Weekend hikes with the Allegheny Outdoor Club
Now in its 40th year, this is a northwestern Pennsylvania group of
outdoor enthusiasts based out of Russell. Non-members are
welcome to join in, but dues which go to support its activities are
nominal.
Year-round, they ski, hike and bike throughout the area and help
maintain and establish our network of trails in and around the
Allegheny National Forest.
For more information and their current schedule visit their website.
For any one interested in learning more about the area, this is a
good place to start.
