offers  one, two, and three day trips ranging
from 5 to 45 miles of canoeing, several
starting right here at the dam.
 Downstream in Tionesta another canoe
service offers reasonable rates at
Eagle Rock
Canoe and Kayak Rental. Their service
includes transportation to Big Bend at the dam
 for overnight trips. Tionesta is the future home
of the Pennsylvania Hunting and Fishing
Museum.

The U.S. Congress has designated an
85-mile stretch of the Allegheny--  from
Kinzua Dam to Warren and from  the
Buckaloons Recreation Area to Tionesta--  
as a "Recreation Waterway" under The
Federal Wild and Scenic Rivers Act.
