Civil War monument in Warren, Pennsylvania
Victorian Warren PA
The Soldiers and Sailors monument graces a part of downtown Warren, Pennsylvania known as the
Point. It is at the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Second Avenue at the foot of the new
Hickory Street Bridge.

Crossing the bridge and following the river to the Route 6 bypass will lead you to a nationally
designated drive, the
Longhouse National Scenic Byway which starts on Route 59 just past the city
limits.

The park pictured here also
includes a great place to view the
Allegheny River and a mini Music
Park where
free concerts are held
Friday and Saturday nights in the
summer, except during the
county
fair which has its own concerts.

Bluegrass performers seem to draw
the largest crowds around here, but
the choice of performers is always
surprising and eclectic.
Directly across the street you can
enjoy live Irish and Scottish folk
music every Wednesday night
throughout the year at "
A Fresh Cup"
coffee house.
