Allegheny Almanac   
The Mansion House Inn, now an apartment and office building on Fourth Avenue,
between Market and Liberty streets. The stone building is the oldest standing lodging
facility in Warren, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1834 and originally served as the
Lumberman's Bank.
After the
court house was built across the street, Judge Allison Wade lived here.  See

Eighty-three years before the
Lumberman's Bank was built, French
explorer Celeron buried a lead plate,
similar to the one at left, claiming this
land for King Louis the 15th. For a full-size
