Heart of Historic District
This is the 1870 home built by Thomas Struthers as a wedding gift to
his daughter. It is now the
Warren County Historical Society on Fourth
Avenue, Warren, Pennsylvania.
The Warren Public Library  maintains an extensive archive of 361
historic photographs, called "
Allegheny Chronicles." Warren is home to
many Victorian and pre-Civil War homes.
In Warren a blacksmith forged hardware for Drake's Well, the first in the
world making Pennsylvania the world's greatest supplier of oil for many
years.  Right from the beginning to the present day, the oil world has
turned to Warren for its
industrial needs.
