Pennsylvania's largest inland lake. At more than 12,000 acres ( according to the U.S
Army Corps of Enginneers) Kinzua Lake holds the records for the largest Walleye
caught in New York and in Pennsylvania too. This is also the home of the state's
largest Northern Pike. Find it on Route 59 past the Kinzua Dam in Warren County,
Pennsylvania. The Allegheny Reservoir, also known as Kinzua Lake, affords carefree
boating, fishing, canoeing, water-skiing, hiking and camping, with some sites
accessible only by water. Check here for local fishing info. For the latest information
visit the Kinzua Allegheny Walleye Association. Check out the humongous fish caught
here. Want to try your luck? Sign up for this June's 2006 Cabela's Walleye Fishing
Tournament here.
And don't miss out on the Pennsylvania State Fishing Tournament held here (and on
the river) every September. Headquarters for the tournament is downstream in Tidioute.
